This is a response to Amy's challenge regarding how much I like corriander. I like it a lot!

Control (2007) - Directed by Anton Corbijn

Favourite Quotes;

'you can't be in my gang if you don't smoke'

'you're mine irretrievably'

'i do not like hot dogs'

'is arse a swear word?'

'some of it's not meant to be beautiful'

'when you say things like that, it makes me think you don't love me anymore' - ' i don't think i do'

Of course the entire film is full of thoughtful, poetic and sad words but I'll leave it at that for now.

Bear Grylls says;

'Life is precious and it's important to live it boldly.' - thanks Bear but some things I don't think I'm that up for.

'There is no point in being too scared to do what you want.' - very true, indeed!

Tame Impala: new album Innerspeaker
Solitude is Bliss = great.
It may be on an advertisement or something. Seems quite familiar even though I've only acknowledged its existence this morning.

'...cause sometimes I'm funny!'

Hello Friends.

Who am I? A very good question.

I introduce you to a girl who left London, after several years of good times and happiness, to return to her hometown Melbourne. On returning to Melbourne, she became completely lost. Over these years of absence... things had changed. Favourite shops had closed down or moved. Music had developed in new directions. The places to be were some place else. There had been marriages, births and mortgages. Some friends just weren't around anymore and others were too far away.

There was work to be done. Music to discover. Shops and markets to explore. Art to absorb. Fashion to find or indeed create. And new friendships to be made.

This blog aims to document my findings for you and for me. I hope you enjoy! x
